Staff at BHSF are taking a well earned rest after completing their latest fundraising deed for St Basil's based in Birmingham, who work to support the young homeless.
The charity have been awarded with £4,432 this past year from a cross country Forest of Dean hiking challenge by staff members of the Birmingham-based health insurer and provider of employee benefits.
They have already started planning for their next challenge and are looking forward to tackling the Peak Districk in Derbyshire in June 2015.
Employees are already eager to get stuck into their next obstacle and are lining up to register their support. Chief Executive of BHSF said “It’s quite amazing how our people so readily volunteer for what is a back-breaking task to raise money for St. Basil’s.”
Lucy Hackett, head of fundraising at St Basil’s said “Peter and his staff have worked dedicatedly for St Basil’s over the years and we are delighted that they continue to support the Walk and many of our other sponsored projects.”
