  • Demand for Professional and Technical Staff on the Increase

Sewell and Wood have noted a marked increase in demand within the Public Sector for interim/temporary Professional and Technical staff. Its clear that as the economy continues to recover and confidence increases that projects that were “mothballed” are starting to be released. Projects such as housing, offices, schools, infrastructure etc are all leading to an increase in requests for experienced staff.

Ken Wood said “Positions such as Architects, Building Surveyors, Enforcement Officers are all seeing a resurgence in demand which clearly shows that the “built environment” is getting busier” He added “Due to recent contract awards and in supporting existing major contracts, we are currently seeking these skills across the Midlands and South and would welcome enquiries from suitable applicants”
